This documentary assesses the environmental consequences of rapid population growth. As the human population climbs to seven billion, the combined effects of urbanization, industrialization, and overreaching agriculture are depleting the Earth of its natural resources. Citing environmental changes in Morocco, Ghana, Ukraine, Mexico, and Vietnam, the film also considers responses to ecological crises, notably those that emphasize health, education, and sustainable development. Changing Nature concludes that all ecological problems are essentially global and require global solutions. X
